Front End Weakness

Lately I’ve noticed that Wrangler is taking big front steps in his cart, he kind of looks like a horse or like he’s prancing.  I’m really worried that the disease is spreading into his front legs.  Long term symptoms do eventually include front end weakness which is scary to think the disease has progressed this far already.  I have mentioned before that the more serious symptoms like respiratory problems, which I think he’s already having, and front end weakness start to occur between 6 and 12 months.  Wrangler has been in his cart for 8 months now and although there is no time frame and it really depends on the age of your dog, I’m really starting to worry that he is in the later stages.

This only seems to be a problem when he’s in his cart, he seems fine when I use his harness and when I hold his back end as he walks.   I know pulling his body weight with only his front legs is a lot of work but it does seem like his front end isn’t as strong as it used be unfortunately.
