I went to Sayulita Mexico the first 2 weeks in Jan 2011. I made all the necessary plans for Wrangler to go back to Love on a Leash. He is staying for over 10 days so pick and delivery are free. This is extremely convenient. Shelly showed up with her SUV. There are 2 dog crates setup firmly in the back, which is perfect for Wrangler so he doesn’t fall all over the place during the drive. I loaded up Wrangler, his bed and his wheels and he was off to Love on a Leash while I was off to Mexico. I received updates by email when I was in Mexico so I knew Wrangler was doing great while I was away. When I got back Wrangler looked like he had a blast, I think he may have even been a little sad to be back with boring old dad. He probably missed all his buddies.
Be prepared, Shelly is worth every penny but it is not cheap, at $50 a night, my kennel bill was close to $700 and my flight to Mexico was $550. It’s cheaper to fly to a different country than take your dog to a kennel in this city 
However, as I said Shelly was great and I wouldn’t take Wrangler anywhere else.
