I would like to thank everyone who sent me kind words after Wrangler’s passing, and my family and friends, one in particular who put up with me when I was a complete mess.  It’s quite amazing to see how many people’s lives Wrangler touched.  Whether they met him personally or just through this blog.  I still miss him terribly but the guilt I initially felt is starting to go away. How You Can Help With DM Research

This info was recently passed to me and I think it’s a great idea.  It’s regarding how you can donate your dog’s spine to DM research once they pass away.  I will be contacting my vet and asking them to have the kit ready for when it’s time.  It’s not very pleasant to think about when your dog passes but if we can help with DM research then I personally will take advantage of this and help any way I can.  I encourage everyone else to help as well. Abe Helps With DM Research

Abe is a boxer who belongs to Sue Qualls from Missouri, Abe’s first owner was Sue’s kids jazz band teacher.  When he moved away, he re-homed his two boxers and Sue agreed to take Abe, with some trepidation at first.  Having only owned labs before she thought this tough looking, smooch faced, unaltered 3 year old male dog was a tad bit intimidating.  She soon found out what an amazing dog he was.  Sue worked from home at the time, her kids were busy with their high school activities and it was just Sue and Abe most of the day.  They bonded quickly and he opened her eyes to what a...
