I was recently contacted by Deborah Miller who had a boxer named Zack with Degenerative Myelopathy. Zack was Deborah’s third boxer and a rescue dog. Deborah did everything she could for him and cared for him for over a year and a half as he battled with DM. Unfortunately the disease got to be too much and she had to let him go. 8 months later she still hasn’t been able to completely move on and get another dog. No Body Puts Baby In The Corner

Ok cheesy title….. You wouldn’t think finding some one to take a perfectly good dog cart would be that difficult, but I guess that’s a good thing.  I tried sending it back to Eddie’s Wheels but they didn’t seem to want it.  I also tried a couple rehab centers in the city and although they do great work with disabled dogs, no one seemed to be in a position to be able to benefit from having it.  Also a good thing. I decided to try putting it up on Craigslist, I paid good money for the cart and I thought there must be someone who could benefit from using it....

The Spaw Physical Therapy Center

In my search for somewhere to donate Wrangler’s cart to I found The Spaw, Canine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation just outside of Vancouver BC.  I spoke with Melissa who seemed very happy and willing to put Wrangler’s cart to good use.  The spaw helps dog’s with arthritis, back and neck problems, muscle tears, dygenerative myelpothay, post surgery recovery, and other neurological conditions that result in weakness and difficulty walking.
